Our History
The Bellco Story
It is a story that blends hard work, family milestones, and development achievements. Each step has shaped Bellco into the company we are today.
During school holidays, Addison starts working for a local contractor.

Addison begins a carpentry apprenticeship, learning the craft from the ground up.

Joins a joinery workshop and refines precision skills.

Travels to West Africa to deliver complex installations in remote locations.

Launches Add Build, employing carpenters across the South East, and marries.

Kalico the family dog arrives, later inspiring the Bellco name.

Bellco is founded, named after Bella and Kalico to represent partnership and vision.

Addison’s first child, Eddie, is born as Bellco turnover reaches £500k.

First development site purchased, built, and sold - a new direction begins.

Second child, Hudson, is born, adding to family motivation.

Fern Road, a 16-home scheme, is acquired mid-pandemic and delivered.

Stockleigh Road, a 12-apartment scheme on a WWII bomb site, breaks ground.

Four single-home projects and a 10-home site completed in one year.

Bellco takes over a stalled 36-home scheme in Thanet and brings it back to life.

Five single-home projects built and planning applications submitted for 40 more.

Future vision: over 100 homes delivered, with 75 retained for affordable, energy-efficient rental powered by ASHP and solar.
From apprentice carpenter to developer, this journey has always been about more than building. It is about partnership, family, resilience, and a commitment to doing things the right way
